Babumoshai Bandookbaaz teaser: Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s shabby assassin act is a stunner!

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is back and how! The actor who has played a few integral but parallel leads, is now back with another lead role of sorts. As the corrupt, horny gun man Babu in Kushan Nandy’s Babumoshai Bandookbaaz.

The film’s official teaser is out and there’s a lot of mayhem in the 1 and half minute promo that has been unveiled by the team. Guns, girls and gaalis galore, this film has Nawaz playing the ‘darubaaz’, ‘showbaaz’, and the ‘r***ibaaz’ and obviously, the ‘bandookbaaz’.

The gritty layering of the film, based in a small town, where Nawaz is a professional contract killer, works majorly in its favour. While it’s not as hard hitting as Gangs of Wasseypur, the Kushan Nandy directorial hits the right node. And with Nawaz as the shabby assassin – someone who’s more like a one man army – they have pulled off a stunner. The trailer is awaited now.
