BREAKING: Prasoon Joshi to replace Pahlaj Nihalani as the new CBFC chief!
Speculations about Pahlaj Nihalani to be removed from the position of the CBFC chief have been rife for quite sometime now. If the latest reports are to be believed, then it has indeed happened and lyricist Prasoon Joshi will be replacing him as the new CBFC chief.
As per multiple TV reports, the censorship of movies by Nihalani was being objected to by both the audience and the filmmakers. That, is reported to be the primary reason behind him being sacked from his position. Several reports also suggest that Vidya Balan too will be a member of the CBFC.
