Square opens its first tech support store in New York City
You’re probably familiar with Square’s iconic, blocky card readers found at farmer’s market stalls, boutique gift shops, or hipster cafes. The payment processor is particularly popular with small to medium-sized businesses, so today the company is opening its first brick-and-mortar location to offer in-person technical support for those who run into issues or have questions about the card readers.
Called Showroom, the New York City-based store lets business owners make appointments to troubleshoot their Square readers or learn more about how to implement the system at their stores.
