Microsoft’s Mixer streaming app for iOS and Android relaunches out of beta
Back in October, Microsoft released a beta for a redesigned version of its Mixer streaming app for iOS and Android. Today, the company announced that it’s releasing the finished version of the updated application, which the Mixer team says has been rebuilt from the ground up to be faster and more consistent across different devices (via Engadget).
Along with the new interface, which makes it easier to do things like select stream video quality, toggle chat and audio, and share streams outside of the app, Mixer now supports push notifications to let you know when your favorite channels are streaming. There are also improvements to allow viewers to join in on streams with interactive components, too.
