WATCH: New trailer for darker ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ season two is here
First ever trailer for the second season of The Handmaid’s Tale released on Sunday night (IST). The upcoming season looks grim and Elizabeth Moss’ character looks more determined than ever.
The trailer sees June Osborne or Offred (Elisabeth Moss) captured and gagged. But the striking is the image of Serena Joy Waterford (Yvonne Strahovski) trading places and thinking position on the window sill with Offred. Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) seems in pain while Moira (Samira Wiley) who managed to escape Gilead, come across traumatised still.
Set to Buffalo Springfield’s song ‘Stop Children What’s That Sound’ the trailer promises drama and more fodder for the brain when the season will premier on April 25.
