Lakme Fashion Week 2018: Kangana Ranaut looks regal in Shyamal & Bhumika

Adding to the glamour of the star-studded last day of Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018, on Sunday, Kangana Ranaut turned showstopper for designer duo Shyamal and Bhumika.

The Queen of Bollywood wore a cream coloured gown with a sparkling bustier attached to voluminous gown adorned with cascading vines of flowers. She finished the look with small diamond earrings and dupatta attached to her bun doubling as train for the gown.

Titled ‘Wonderland’ the collection borrowed inspiration from mystical characters. The designer duo described their vision as ‘collection of enthralling elements in gorgeous hues and intricate embroidery.’

The collection featured tulle in pastel shades, satin sarees and dresses.

Talking about Kangana as showstopper Bhumika told IANS, “She stands up for her rights and truly does represent the modern Indian woman. We could not have thought of anyone more ideal for us to present this new collection at Lakme Fashion Week.”

“It felt natural to associate with her as she aptly embodies the qualities of a Shyamal Bhumika woman with great finesse and fearlessness,” added Shyamal.
