Trump rejects FBI probe demand about sexual assault charges against his SC pick Kavanaugh
US President Donald Trump Wednesday slammed the opposition Democratic party for taking the political advantage of sexual assault allegations against his Supreme Court nominee, stating that Judge Brett Kavanaugh does not “deserve this”.
A woman had accused the judge of sexually assaulting her when they were in high school. Judge Kavanaugh has denied the allegations, which surfaced on Sunday, and said he was ready to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. “I feel so badly for him that he’s going through this, to be honest with you. I feel so badly for him. This is not a man that deserves this. This should have been brought to the fore. It should have been brought up long ago.
