Dimapur: Internet and SMS blocked as curfew continues

Internet services have been blocked in Nagaland since Saturday evening as a measure to stop more inflammatory videos from spreading. Mobile service providers have been instructed to block bulk SMSes as well as MMSes, a government official said.

Newspapers published in the state issued announcements that press releases containing inflammatory language would not be entertained. Meanwhile, curfew was relaxed in the morning to enable people to attend church. It was strictly imposed from 3 pm onwards, with only ambulances and media persons permitted to move around.
