Google begins rolling out Android 5.1 update
The first major update to Android 5.0 Lollipop is here. Google just announced that version 5.1 is rolling out now to supported devices including Motorola’s Nexus 6 and HTC’s Nexus 9. The software update “improves stability and performance and offers a few new features like support for multiple SIM cards, Device Protection and high definition (HD) voice on compatible phones,” Google said in a blog post. Lollipop was a major visual overhaul for Android, but didn’t come without its own set of bugs and random glitches.
