George R.R. Martin is working on a new HBO series
George R.R. Martin certainly has a lot on his plate these days. Entertainment Weekly reports and The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the A Song of Ice and Fire author is in the process of developing a second HBO series. Called Captain Cosmos, the series will tell the story of a visionary sci-fi writer telling stories in 1949’s nascent television landscape.
The news comes just weeks before the fifth season of Game of Thrones begins, and might make the author’s famously impatient fans testy about his ability to finish his saga sooner rather than later.
