Rishi Kapoor’s Twitter: Misinterpreted, misconstrued and misunderstood
Rishi Kapoor, apart from being a son of a famous father and the father of a famous son (which his Twitter bio claims), is also an avid ‘tweet’er. So much so, that he keeps taking breaks from tweeting every now and then to rejuvenate himself.
Rishi Kapoor, apart from being a son of a famous father and the father of a famous son (which his Twitter bio claims), is also an avid ‘tweet’er. So much so, that he keeps taking breaks from tweeting every now and then to rejuvenate himself.
Yesterday, only he talked about taking a sabbatical from the microblogging site (Read: Rishi Kapoor plans a sabbatical from Twitter) and today he has raised a very important question. Why are the celebs on their phones always? He tweeted:
Why celebrities entering previews or otherwise, are on their mobiles in their cars when media there?Last minute instructions if India nuked?

They must be on Twitter only, we guess. However, this does, certainly, tell us Rishi Kapoor has changed his mind of taking a break from Twitter and is here to stay. He also questioned about the Indians’ habit of smoking and procreating.
Warning On a Cigarette pack-Misuse of this may cause Cancer | Warning On a Condom pack-Misuse if this may cause child. Both needed in country

Some people just don’t have a sense of humour. Get a life people -you need to breathe, exhale loosen your belt! Har cheez literal naheen hoti

Though the message and intentions behind these tweets must be good enough, Rishi Kapoor has passed them on in his own quirky manner. The veteran actor has been on a Tweeting spree to keep his fans and followers posted about not only his professional and personal lives, but the society as well. Hence, one can see him tweeting on various topics, ranging from Smriti Irani to beef ban.
Yo! But look how I get into problems. Misinterpreted misconstrued misunderstood! Why would I say anything against women for Gods sake!
— rishi kapoor (@chintskap) April 2, 2015
He had tweeted about women emancipation too, but in a way that invited wrath of the people rather than appreciation.
Have been proud to be a part of these films based on Women’s Emancipation! My Choice to ab aaya hai. Let this prevail pic.twitter.com/DgOVUa9PEO

Sledging in cricket was heard of. Now in Indian Parliament too? That too against women? Wah! Kya mardangi dikha rahe ho-kamzor pe atyachar?
— rishi kapoor (@chintskap) April 2, 2015
But he was misinterpreted.
Didn’t mean to say kamzor in that sense. Meant it well but misinterpreted I have done films championing their cause. Why would I say wrong

Then Rishi Kapoor even decided to be a food reviewer.
Showed my tweet to the manager. Refused to give the bill.Think I will make Food Review my profession. Adios acting and Films. This is better!
— rishi kapoor (@chintskap) April 4, 2015
But he is going nowhere as he will be soon seen in ‘All is Well’ co-starring Abhishek Bachchan and Asin. ‘All is Well’ was also supposed to feature actress and HRD minister Smriti Irani, but she backed off the project due to date problems. But Rishi Kapoor didn’t like this.
KYA MERA dosh hai Smiti Irani. Aap hi Filmen chod diye! Main kaise chodoon aapko?
— rishi kapoor (@chintskap) April 5, 2015
These kind of tweets invite some cuss words along with the wrath, and Rishi Kapoor doesn’t approve of this. He was once quated as saying, “All the jokes are on me, but even if they don’t like something, they can tell me politely, like ‘listen, I didn’t understand your opinion and didn’t like it’. Why do they have to be rude? I’ve blocked some 300-400 users on my account as they were abusive and used cuss words.”
It was earlier reported that his son, Ranbir Kapoor had asked his parents to keep a check on social media posts.
One might doubt Rishi Kapoor’s intentions behind the incessant tweets, we think, as he himself says, he is just ‘misinterpreted, misunderstood and misconstrued’.
