Hurriyat Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani
Hurriyat Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani said Wednesday that the Rashtriya Sevak Sangh wants to turn Jammu and Kashmir into a “Hindu state” and added that they must “accept the challenge”.
“RSS is an ideological party. They want to turn Jammu and Kashmir into a Hindu state,” Geelani said at a seminar on ‘RSS plans and our responsibilities’ organised by the Hurriyat. “This ideological fight can be responded with ideology,” he said.
Geelani further said they would not have had any problem with RSS “if they would have come forward with arguments”. “They want to implement their programmes through power. They are not going to succeed because their plans are against humanity, against nature,” he added.
