HC restrains police from action against Shah Rukh Khan in property damage case during ‘Raees’ promotions
Shah Rukh Khan’s unique promotional stint, of going on a train journey from Mumbai to Delhi, for his last release Raees, has spelt trouble for him ever since he embarked on the journey. Now, the latest orders of the Rajasthan High Court have come in as a big relief to the actor.
On Wednesday, the Rajasthan HC restricted the police from taking any coercive action against Shah Rukh, in a case of property damage that was filed by Vikram Singh. The complainant had alleged the actor of causing damage to public property while promoting Raees by train on January 23, earlier this year, reports TOI.
The report also added that the court further directed Kota SP (rural) to serve notice to the complainant Vikram Singh, who’s a trolley vendor at Kota GRP. Singh has alleged that SRK threw something at the public while standing at the gate of the train coach. As a result, the public rushed to grab it and in the commotion, his trolley overturned, the items on it got damaged and he also got hurt.
