That tweet was a bit aggressive: Saif Ali Khan REACTS to the Sonu Nigam – azaan row!

The Sonu Nigam – azaan controversy started when the singer complained of the high decibels in the neighbourhood, thanks to the constant blaring of the azaan on loudspeakers in the nearby mosque early in the morning.

But Sonu’s tweets gave out a very different story. His tweets were written in an order which made people feel that Sonu is against the Muslim community and the azaan. But he clarified that he had an issue with the noise that was created.

A lot of it has been said and done, Sonu has even shaved off his head, but the controversy seems to have no end. Kangana Ranaut recently reacted to the whole controversy. And now joining her is her Rangoon co-star Saif Ali Khan.

He said in an interview to Indian Express, “Don’t know who you are offending. At one level I agree, the lesser sound the better, there should be certain decibel levels allowed across religious practices. I also understand the amplification of the sound during azaan comes from insecurity. Not just here but also in Israel apparently where three different religions co-exist.
