Soldiers mutilated | Paramjit Singh’s family didn’t want to cremate headless body
Family members of Naib Subedar Paramjit Singh, whose body was brutally mutilated by the Pakistani Army in Krishna Ghati on Monday, had earlier on Tuesday refused to cremate his body until his head is returned to them.
According to reports, Paramjit Kaur, wife of Singh, demanded that Indian government should bring her husband’s severed head for the cremation to take place.
“Whose body is this? It is all behind this box. We are not being shown the body, Why?” relatives of Singh asked, demanding to see his body.

However, after persuasion by Army and government officials, they agreed to complete the last rites of Singh.
