WATCH: Ryan Gosling is chasing Harrison Ford in spunky, toxic new trailer for ‘Blade Runner 2049’
Sony Pictures released the first full trailer for Blade Runner 2049 on Monday. The spunky trailer is full of mystery and groove.
In the trailer, begins with Ryan Gosling’s Officer K visiting Jared Leto’s (for the lack of better word) lair, where Leto’s character seems to be breeding perfect human creatures in the world after the incidents of Blade Runner took place.
Cut to Robin Wright’s authoritative figure. She is reminding Officer K that LAPD keeps order because “There is order to things here.”
Not for long.
We follow bloodied K falling for Joi and then go looking for Rick Deckard who has MIA for years. Harrison Ford’s character is returning after the cult favourite original, directed by Ridley Scott, came out in 1982.
Officer K has questions and Deckard has answers to them. What follows is K embarking on a mission full of action sequences, trippy digital holograms, that ultimately leads to a realisation of being special.
The movie will be rated R, just like the original. Arrival fame Denis Villeneuve is helming the movie which follows through the more toxic Blade Runner universe.
