REVEALED: Release date of Kajol and Dhaush starrer ‘VIP 2’ is OUT!

The release of the film Velaiyilla Pattathari 2 (or VIP 2), starring Dhanush and Kajol, will be accompanied by Dhanush’s birthday. The same was confirmed as he shared a video stating the release date of the movie as July 28.

Apart from being a very special day for Dhanush himself, there are several other facts behind the making of the film that render it a must-watch. To begin with, the acclaimed star Rajinikanth himself inaugurated the shooting period last December. He was also present on the sets when the film was wrapped up. VIP 2 is also Kajol’s first Tamil screen appearance after 20 years. Earlier, she had acted in the 1997 success Minsara Kanavu, starring Prabhu Dheva and Arvind Swamy as well.
