ACB records statement of Kapil Mishra
A day after the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) registered three FIRs in the Public Works Department (PWD) scam involving Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s late brother-in-law Surender Bansal, the agency carried out raids at the PWD office. And he also recorded the statement of sacked minister Kapil Mishra into allegation that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had influenced the probe into a Rs 400 crore tanker scam.
The sacked minister reached at the ACB office at 12 pm and recorded his statement. Coming out of the office at around 1.30 pm, Mishra told reporters, “I have given them all the information and got my statement recorded. I will again go to the ACB office on Monday.”
The ex-AAP leader is on a hunger strike demanding details of foreign trips by five prominent AAP leaders. He had visited the ACB office a few days ago and shared evidence related to the tanker scam that dates back to Sheila Dikshit’s tenure as chief minister.
