Baywatch is a DISASTER in India: Why Priyanka Chopra seriously needs to re-evaluate her choices!

Last year, people panned Harshvardhan Kapoor’s Mirzya and labelled it as the biggest disaster of recent times. Well, there was Bombay Velvet too, in the reckoning, but the poor debutante had to face the brunt of being the new starkid on the block.

Okay, I’m digressing from the point. Sorry. Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra’s Hollywood debuts have finally happened. Both the films have released worldwide and the results are clear. DP’s xXx 3 was a washout in India but managed to earn Rs 37 crore in its lifetime run. The film’s high cost worked against it and it turned out to be a flop in India.

That was four months back. PC’s Baywatch has just released and it’s a disaster in the US. People have slammed the film and called its narrative nothing but mere tomfoolery. Ouch! Here, in India, the film is struggling to get past the corner.
