Raabta box office collection Day 4: Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s film fails Monday litmus test
Even before its release, Dinesh Vijan’s Raabta kept making constant headlines. Raabta was one of the most awaited films of the year. Despite a huge pre-release buzz, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s film has received an insignificant response at the box office. From an average collection of Rs 5.21 crore on day 3, Raabta has seen a major dip on the first Monday and has failed to pass the Monday litmus test.
Sushant-Kriti’s film released on June 9 and the breakdown of the box office collection of the film since Friday is, Fri- 5.61 crore, Sat- 5.11 crore, Sun- 5.21 crore and Mon – 2.53 crore, having a total of Rs 18.46 crore.
Talking about the film, the film faced a lot of critics. Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh were generally praised for their performance however, the poor screenplay and its weak plot lead to the film’s downfall.
Given the unimpressive response so far, the movie is expected to make around Rs 30-35 crore at the box office in its lifetime run.
