Jabra’s upgraded wireless earbuds prioritize battery life
At CE Week 2017, Jabra debuted the next iteration of its Elite Sport earbuds. Launched last year, the Elite Sport are Jabra’s first truly wireless earbuds, and they now come with a few upgrades — most notably in battery life.
The new Jabra Elite Sport earbuds have packed in 50 percent more power than their predecessor without increasing the weight or depth of the earbud. They now can deliver 4.5 hours of play on a single charge; with use of the portable charging case, a have a total of 13.5 hours of battery life. Battery life is a key focus with wireless earbuds. Comparable earbuds, like Motorola’s VerveOne, and the Bragi Dash, already offer longer battery life than the upgraded Elite Sport, at 12 hours and 20 hours total, respectively.
