Google adds Home to its Preview Program for early access to upcoming features
Google has added the Home, its voice-controlled speaker, to the company’s Preview Program. The program lets early adopters try upcoming firmware before they’re officially released to the public, as reported by Android Police.
The Preview Program allows users to test new features and provide feedback. As part of the program, Google says the updates will be of the same quality as production version rollouts, giving folks early access rather than betas. Users can sign up for the program by accessing their Home app, selecting the device, and opting in to the program from the Settings menu.
