The Prime Minister is on a 2-day visit to poll-bound Gujarat, where he began his trip with prayers at Dwarikadhish Temple.
Later, he laid the foundation of Rajkot Greenfield Airport.
“You are IIT-ians, I was a Tea-ian when I was young (I sold tea). On this day, a few years ago, I took oath as CM for the first time. Till then, I had never even been an MLA. I had decided that whatever I will do, I will do to the best of my abilities,” PM Modi said.
Pitching for ‘Digital India’, the PM said that it will guarantee transparency.
He said that digital literacy is a must for development and said that ‘in this day and age, we cannot afford to have a digital divide.’
