Man arrested for stalking Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara
A West Bengal man has been arrested by Mumbai police for allegedly stalking and harassing legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara.
The man is said to have made about 20 calls to Tendulkar’s Bandra residence, threatening to kidnap her and even proposing marriage.
According to a report by India Today, the stalker, who is unemployed and a college dropout, passed lewd comments to 20-year-old Sara on the phone calls.
It is still not known how the man got hold of Tendulkar’s landline number.
His family has claimed that he is mentally unstable. A medical examination will take place to prove if that’s true or not.
The Bandra police swung into action after Sara lodged a complaint against the stalker a while ago.
To track him down, cops used the location of nearby telephone towers from where he used to make the calls.
