Watch: Samsung Galaxy S9 teaser hints at new camera features and more
Samsung, which will unveil the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ on February 25, released yet another teaser which highlights the features of the camera. The 30-second clip titled ‘The Camera. Reimagined’ offers a glimpse of some of the new elements which will be added to the company’s smartphones. Additionally, Samsung might also bring in a new 3D Animoji-style feature.
A video posted on Samsung Malaysia’s official channel reveals some expected camera features on the device. For starters, we can expect an upgrade in the front-facing iris scanner along with improvements for low-light photography.
“Imagine a camera that can see more than your eyes — one that can help you capture every moment and change the way you experience the world. We didn’t just update the camera. We rethought the entire camera experience.” the company mentioned on its website.
According to a report by Slashleaks, the upcoming Galaxy S9 will sport a 3000mAh battery while the Galaxy S9+ will sport a 3500mAh battery. These are the same battery capacities, which we present in the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ as well.
