Stranger Things is getting a third season
The second season of Netflix’s Stranger Things isn’t set to air until October, but co-creators Ross and Matt Duffer have already confirmed a third. In an interview with Vulture, Ross said the series will likely be “a four-season thing and then out.” The imagined fourth season hasn’t actually been greenlit yet.
In the same interview, the Duffer Brothers reveal a few minor details about the second season — mainly that it will feel more like a movie sequel than a TV show. As for the just-confirmed third season, the brothers say the storyline will probably have to move outside the small, fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. “We just have to keep adjusting the story,” Matt says. “Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening…
