The shoot of Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Daljeet Dosanjh, has commenced in Punjab and Shahid took to Instagram to share the news and the picture of the clapshot. He captioned the image as, “UDTA PUNJAB takes off . This ones special . Wish us luck guys . It’s a tough tough film . We need your love .”
Earlier in the year, Shahid had admitted how he is scared for his upcoming movie ‘Udta Punjab’ as it happens to be one of the most challenging roles of his career. And with a movie and role like ‘Haider’ to his credits, the heartthrob has added expectations to shoulder. Shahid and the team of ‘Udta Punjab’ must, hence, be hoping that ‘Udta Punjab’ takes off at the Box Office too.
Shahid’s next two projects – ‘Farzi’ and the Hindi remake of ‘Magadheera’ – will go on floors by the end of this year.
