Ban on BBC documentary to continue, CJ to hear case on Wednesday

Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to pass interim orders to lift ban on BBC documentary ‘India’s Daughter’ saying that judges get influenced by media trials. Delhi High Court’s Justice B D Ahmed said, “media used to exercise self-censorship in subjudice matters but it has thrown it to the wind.”

He further added: “Judges are not from outer space, get subconsciously pressured by emotional media trial.”
