RSS calendar gives call to build temple at Ayodhya
Hindu new year calendar and greeting cards are on sale at RSS’ Bharti Bhawan office in Lucknow with a photograph of Lord Ram and a model of a temple, giving a call to build a temple at Ayodhya. The message reads: “Ayodhya karti hai aahvahan, thaath se kar mandir nirman. Jai shree Ram. (Ayodhya gives a call, build the temple with confidence).”
The calendars and cards are being sold by RSS Sahitya Pramukh Shambhu, who claims he received them from Delhi but refused to reveal the source of the greeting material. The greeting card carries a 230-word message on the back saying that Lord Ram’s son Kush had developed a temple in Ayodhya which still exists. “Hindu society will not accept any thing other than a Ram temple at that place,” reads the message.

There are other calendars and cards too with photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah along with Swami Vivekananda with his saying — “There is no great and sustainable work possible without an organisation.”
These cards and calendars are printed by Delhi publisher “Surya Impressions”. When contacted, Surya Impressions office in-charge Rekha said that several lakh of such calendars and cards have been printed and circulated to different parts of the country as per the demands of volunteers of RSS and its affiliates.
Rekha looks after the office on behalf of her husband Manmohan Gupta who, according to her, is associated with the RSS and has also worked with Dharma Jagran Manch and Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
