Farhan Akhtar started the MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination) initiative in 2013 and since then the multi-faceted actor has been a strong advocate for women’s rights. He, time and again, has spoken against the crime against women and we believe there couldn’t have been a better representative for India at the UN Women.
