Bentley previously recurred in three episodes of “Freak Show” as Edward Mordrake. The 36-year-old “Interstellar” actor joins Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga on the upcoming season.
However, Jessica Lange – who has appeared in all four previous outings of “American Horror Story” – confirmed at PaleyFest that she is “done” with the horror series and will not be returning. “We’ve had a great run here,” Lange said.
“American Horror Story: Hotel” is expected to premiere around Halloween with 13 all-new episodes.
The FX series has won eight Emmy Awards and one Golden Globe Award over the past four years.
