Ranveer Singh shares pictures showing love for acting in early days
From Govinda, who has the best comic timings, to Amrish Puri – the villain who would scare off people with his looks and stern voice – Ranveer Singh had played all these characters copying their style and mannerisms.
Stardom in the film industry doesn’t come easy. It’s a result of hard work and a single-minded focus. It’s an ultimate trophy that one gets after spending years in the labyrinth of struggling days. Perhaps, new-age actor Ranveer Singh had learnt this early in life. Bitten by the acting bug, he had tried it all. From ‘Mr. India’ who could vanish after wearing his magic watch, to Amrish Puri – the villain who would scare off people with his looks and stern voice – Ranveer had played all these characters copying their style and mannerisms.
Sharing his pictures on Instagram from the time when he wasn’t even a part of the Bollywood industry, Ranveer has again given a sneak-peak into his love for acting.
The actor posted a picture in which he is dressed like Anik Kapoor from the film ‘Mr. India’. We can see the hard work put behind this creativity of the actor as he has donned the same hat, unbuttoned his shirt just like Anil Kapoor did.
And then he dons the look of the villain Amrish Puri from the movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’. The painted forehead, antique bracelet, a neck piece that looks similar to that of Amrish Puri’s and the expression that could scare off anyone makes Ranveer look exactly like him.
Ranveer seems to be comedy king Govinda’s fan as well. The actor chose to don Govinda’s look from the movie ‘Raja Babu’. From the white hat to the Nehru jacket, Ranveer seems to have left no stone unturned in getting the exact look like him.
Having done movies like ‘Gunday’, ‘Ram Leela’, ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ and ‘Lootera’, we now know the secret behind Ranveer being so good at all genres.
