Virat Kohli’s poor show is Anushka Sharma’s fault? Abhishek Bachchan and others disagree
Despite the fact that Anushka WAS NOT the one who was batting, bowling or fielding, the troll tweets just kept coming in.
With Virat Kohli scoring just one run in the crucial India-Australia Cricket World Cup semi-final match, twitterati took jibes at his girfriend and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who was seen cheering for the team and Kohli from the stands.
Some called her ‘panauti’ (bad omen), while some cursed and abused her. Some fans and followers even went to the extent of asking others to boycotting all her movies and throwing stones at her house, even though it was pretty clear from the video footage shown during the match that Anushka was equally disappointed when Virat walked back to the dressing room.
Anushka Sharma looked dumbstruck and hid her face in her hands, while some of the Indian supporters in the stands could not hold back their tears.

But some people, including actors from the film industry, stood by the talented actress and trolled the trollers instead. One of them is Abhishek Bachchan.
It so happened that when enterpreneur Anirban Das posted his reaction on Anushka’s trolling at the hands of the disappointed fans, Abhishek echoed his thoughts and tweeted in support of Anushka.
@anirbanblah @AnushkaSharma these are the type of people who will never have wives or girlfriends.

Some fans and followers of the actress also tweeted to show support against the venomous trolling.
After seeing KRK’s obnoxious tweet blaming anushka for India’s loss, i think 66A should be retained for gutter like him.
