Social Activist Medha Patkar resigns from Aam Aadmi Party

Amidst the ensuing internal crisis, the Aam Aadmi Party has been hit by another blow: Social activist Medha Patkar today announced her resignation from the primary membership of the party.

Condemning the insult of senior leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, Patkar said that the need to advocate alternative politics has not happened nationally.

Although she refrained from levelling allegations against party chief Arvind Kejriwal, Patkar said that ‘diry linen must not be washed in public.’

Yadav and Bhushan never worked against party interests according to me, she said.
