English rock band Rolling Stones are rumoured to be announcing a tour of North America. The group are thought to be visiting smaller cities and towns they did not visit when they marked their 50th anniversary with a trip to the US in 2012 or on the 50 and Counting tour in 2013, reported the Rolling Stones magazine.
The announcement is due to be made on March 31. Cities including Nashville, Indianapolis and Oakland, California are rumoured to be stop-offs planned. The Stones were forced to cancel a number of shows in Australia in 2014 after Mick Jagger’s partner L’Wren Scott committed suicide.
The Rolling Stones were named the third highest grossing tour of 2014 by Forbes recently – bringing in USD 143 million.
