Watch: Road trip with Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan in Piku’s first song

After the release of their rib-ticking trailer, the makers of Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan starrer, ‘Piku’ have launched the first track from the film, titled, ‘Journey song’.

Crooned by Anupam Roy and Shreya Ghoshal, ‘Journey’ has been composed and written by Anupam as well.

The video features the cast – Amitabh Bachchan, who plays the aged father. Deepika Padukone, the dutiful daughter, Irrfan Khan, who gets caught between the chaos and Jishu Sengputa, on a road trip.

Melodious and soothing at the same time, ‘Journey’ captures the blossoming romance between Irrfan and Deepika’s characters in the film.

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, ‘Piku’ revolves around the relationship between father and daughter. The film is salted to hit theatres on May 8.
