Finally, the actor who has been receiving criticism for his remarks on the social networking site told Hindustan Times, “I think I will take a temporary break from here, to see the kind of response I get.”
Kapoor has been on and off on Twitter ever since 2010. He says that it was his fans and Bollywood actors who encouraged him to make a presence on the social site.
Upset over the remarks being made against him, Rishi said, “I can tell so many stories about my experiences in this industry and more. But people here are just so rude and impulsive. I mean, I’ll write what I feel is right. All the jokes are on me, but even if they don’t like something, they can tell me politely, like ‘listen, I didn’t understand your opinion and didn’t like it’. Why do they have to be rude? I’ve blocked some 300-400 users on my account as they were abusive and used cuss words.”
It was earlier reported that Rishi’s son, Ranbir Kapoor had asked his parents to keep a check on social media posts.
