Nanded Varsity to have Chair in honour of Guru Gobind Singh
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday announced a Chair in the name of 10th guru of Sikhs Guru Gobind Singh in Swami Ramanand Tirath Marathwara University, Nanded.
He was reciprocating the gesture of Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal who has set up a Chair in the name of Bhagat Namdev at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

One of the five Takhts of Sikhs, Takht Hazur Sahib, is at Nanded. Guru Gobind Singh had breathed his last there.
Fadnavis and Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu were among those who reached Ghuman on Sunday on the concluding day of 88th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan. They were welcomed by Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal.
Fadnavis also invited Punjab to arrange Punjabi Sammelan in Maharashtra.
