Rajeev Khandelwal and Kritika Kamra turn ‘Reporters’

With journalism and media as the background, ‘Reporters’ does seem high on content and style.

TV and film actor Rajeev Khandelwal, who was last seen in the 2014 release ‘DOA: Death of Amar’ as Amar Anand, is making a comeback to the small screen as a journalist Kabir Sharma with fictional series ‘Reporters’.

The show also features Kritika Kamra, who was last seen in the daily soap ‘Kuchh Toh Log Kahenge’ and reality dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7′.

With journalism and media as the background, the show does seem high on content and style. The promos of the show have already started airing and are being appreciated as well.

As can be seen, Kabir Sharma, played by Rajeev, is a famous but a business-minded journalist. Arrives Ananya, a beginner and in love with Kabir’s charisma. She is upright and righteous and prefers “truth” to “news” and is all set to challenge Kabir’s ethics.

Rajeev and Kritika enjoy a huge fan following, especially Rajeev. He is making a comeback to the small screen after a long time. Last seen in the reality show ‘Sach Ka Saamna’, he is still remembered for his portrayal of Sujal in Balaji’s ‘Kahiin Toh Hoga’ and Rajveer in Sab TV’s ‘Left Right Left’.

Kritika Kamra was last seen playing Dr Nidhi opposite Mohnish Behl and then with Sharad Kelkar in Sony TV’s ‘Kuchh Toh Log Kahenge’ and is still fresh in the viewers’ hearts.

The excitement of the fans and followers can be gauged from the fact that even with a week remaining for the start of the show, “Rajeev and Kritika” has been trending on Twitter for few hours now.

‘Reporters’ begins its journey on April 13.
