Emraan Hashmi to shoot at Lords Stadium, London for Azharuddin biopic?
The biopic is directed by Anthony D’souza.
Though Emraan Hashmi is busy with the promotions of ‘Mr. X’ currently, we are aware that the actor has been preparing for the biopic on cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin since months. The film which will have Emraan playing a cricketer for the first time will be shot at different places including the real life locations which are close to Azhar’s life. One such place will be Lords Stadium that is located in London.
We hear that Emraan Hashmi, who will resume the schedule of the film in June, will shoot at the iconic Lords Stadium, which has been one of the milestones in Azhar’s life. It is being said that the makers are already busy trying to sort the required permission.
Focusing on the life of Azharuddin, the film traces the journey of the cricketer from his early teens (17 year old) to the rise and fall of his career and controversies that became a part of this popular celebrity’s life. The film will also have two actresses playing the roles of Azharuddin’s two wives. Emraan Hashmi, who had once mentioned that he needs to get the nuances of a cricketer right, has apparently even started practicing the sport with Azharuddin for the film.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, the biopic is directed by Anthony D’Souza.
