“Bidyut’s untimely death is a big loss to Assamese film. He was a very sensitive filmmaker who always looked for an opportunity to portray the complex human psyche through his films. While finding such stories is one difficult task, it is equally difficult translating such stories into films. But Bidyut was very good at that,” said leading Assamese filmmaker Munin Barua.
