Anurag Kashyap splits from rumoured girlfriend, blames media
Anurag Kashyap’s next directorial venture ‘Bombay Velvet’ starring Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor is set to release next month.
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has, reportedly, called off his rumoured relationship with assistant director Sabrina Khan.
According to a report published in Mid-Day.com, Anurag and Sabrina had been seeing each other for quite sometime, but in past one year, they have had many issues and fights. So, they have finally decided to call it quits.
Another reason attributed for the break up was Anurag Kashyap being too tied up with work. Another source was even quoted as saying that Anurag didn’t want to settle down any time soon.
Further when the filmmaker was questioned about this, he confirmed the report saying, “Yeah, she called it off.”
In another report published in Mid-Day.com, he was quoted as blaming the media for the souring of his relationship. He said, “I was busy working and the industry stopped treating her on merit and started to look at her as my girlfriend. It bothered her. She loves her job so decided to end it. Hope that ends your morbid curiosity about other people’s personal lives and you media s***theads won’t destroy any more relationships.”
