Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to ‘Mirziya’. Actress Saiyami Kher’s wedding sequence in the film is said to be one of the most crucial scenes. Since it was a Rajasthani wedding, the director made sure that everything looked perfect. He especially looked into the costumes and decorations.
Authentic costumes were required for each and every person, and a number of junior artistes were involved. A professional pagdi maker was called to make over 500 pagdis for the scene. More than 500 jootis and costumes were also arranged. Apparently, the director also ordered for 5 trucks of marigold flowers.
‘Mirziya’ is one of the most anticipated films for debutants Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher.
