Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ shoot delayed due to bad weather in Kashmir
When Salman Khan arrived at Srinagar airport huge crowd had gathered outside, to catch a glimpse of the famous Bollywood star.
The shoot of Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has been delayed following bad weather conditions in Kashmir. Bad weather conditions have been prevailing in Kashmir valley since Sunday afternoon. The shooting of the movie, was supposed to start on Sunday at te famous tourist destination Pahalgam.
Salman Khan had arrived in Srinagar on Saturday for the last leg of the film’s shoot.
Officials said other than the weather conditions, the huge crowd that is coming to Pahalgam to see Salman Khan has also added to the delay. A police official said it took several hours for the security personnel to clear the road outside the hotel, where Salman Khan is putting up, thus delaying the shoot, on the first day on Sunday.

“Fans from different places of valley are coming to see Salman Khan. But we are not allowing anyone to go towards the sets,” said a senior police official. “Hundreds of fans had even gathered outside the hotel to have glimpse of the actor. The bad weather is playing the spoilsport as well.”

The shooting of the movie, which is directed by Kabir Khan, is scheduled to take police at several locations in the valley including famous tourists destinations of Pahalgam and Gulmarg.
While the shooting has been delayed due to the incessant rains, police officials said that adequate security arrangements have been done during the Salman Khan stay in valley.
“We have done sufficient arrangements for the security of the actor,” said SP Security Kashmir Maqsood ul Zaman. “We have put security in place everywhere, where the shooting would take place,” he said.
