Why did Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan fight on the sets of ‘Piku’?

Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan’s chemistry in the recently released song ‘Bezubaan’ from their upcoming movie ‘Piku’ might be palpable and something to watch out for but their rocking chemistry rocked the ship they were sailing in too; well, to an extent.

It so happened that while discussing a scene, Deepika and Irrfan got into an argument and started shouting at each other. As the matter worsened director Shoojit Sircar had to intervene along with the entire team, till they found out that the fight was nothing but a prank.

According to a report published in DNA, “Shoojit and others tried to reason with them, but that didn’t work. Both Deepika and Irrfan stormed off and retreated into their respective vanity vans. When they were called for the scene, everyone on the sets was tensed. And seeing the worried faces, the lead pair just burst out laughing. That’s when Shoojit and crew realised that it was a well organised prank by Deepika and Irrfan.”
