Former Boyzone singer Ronan Keating has confirmed he will not be returning to “The X Factor” Australia.
After five seasons, the 38-year-old popular Irish singer is taking a year off to focus on his own music, reported Daily Telegraph.
“I’ve had five great years working on an amazing show with a brilliant team of people. But I’m working on a new solo album and different projects so I can’t make it back this year sadly,” he said.

Keating has made Australia his second home, even meeting fiance Storm Uechtritz on set of the hit reality show.
He mentored Reece Mastin and Samantha Jade to take out series crowns.
“I will miss being in Australia. But I will get back soon for some live shows,” he said.
