Mani Ratnam hospitalised, now stable
Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam enjoyed making his latest Tamil outing “O Kadhal Kanmani” in sync sound so much that he plans to make more movies using the same technique.
Noted film director Mani Ratnam was hospitalised late on Tuesday night after complaining of chest pain. He was taken to Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Doctors confirmed that the director was stable and said his family does not want them to divulge any details to the public.
Mani Ratnam, a Padma Shri awardee, is best known for his 1995 hit film Bombay. He also tasted success in Bollywood with Guru, starring Abhishek Bachchan, and Yuva.
