Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently dating Salman Khan’s rumoured ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif, shared his thoughts on the Dabangg Khan’s hit-and-run case verdict.

“We are not here to challenge the law and all of that. But, I’ve known Mr. Salman Khan on a personal basis for many years. My family has also known him and I can vouch the fact that he’s a good man. He’s got a very big heart; he’s helped so many people through his foundation. I think he has helped more people than I’ve ever heard of. So, at these prime times you only wish strength and prayers to the family and to him. I am sure that he’s going to bounce back and we wish him all the luck and love,” said Ranbir Kapoor at the promotional event for ‘Bombay Velvet’ in Mumbai.

Ranbir and Katrina’s wedding plans have started making the rounds around town. However, the couple have always remained mum on the topic.
Salman Khan was been convicted in the 2002 hit-and-run case by a Mumbai sessions court on Wednesday and sentenced to five years jail. His bail petition is being heard by the Bombay High Court today, (May 8).
