Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is surely having a good year at the 68th Cannes Film Festival with regard to her fashion choices on the red carpet and off it at the French Riviera. (See Pics here)

After bringing drama to the carpet in a her monochrome Ralph & Russo couture gown, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dazzled us in a gorgeous lilac strapless evening dress by Elie Saab at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS benefit that took place at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 21).

The gown is feminine, delicate and romantically dreamy, making it a perfect choice for the last of her Cannes appearances this year.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who completes her 14th year at Cannes, matched her eye shadow to the hue of her dress and had her hair styled in sweeping waves. A bling necklace complemented her whole look.

She was to be joined by her husband Abhishek but the actor missed it due to prior professional commitments. He tweeted:

Unfortunately due to work commitments I can’t attend the AMFAR gala today. But the better half is there to represent.

So far, this is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s best look at the 68th Cannes Film Festival. Her previous choices this year included an oxblood Oscar de la Renta which came in at a close second and the Ralph & Russo gown.
