After the hilarious and daring stints of Tanu and Manu in the movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, the onscreen couple is all set to raise the curtains once again this Friday ( May 23) acquainting viewers with the life post marriage.
‘Tanu weds Manu Returns’ deals about life post marriage.
While the young and audacious Tanu (Kangana Ranuat) is always on a look out for something exciting and thrilling in life, Manu (Madhavan) is a soft spoken and shy husband. Their journey had been tough earlier where they went against families, tried hard impressing each other and fought Raja (Jimmy Shergill) to get married.
No sooner will you see events taking a turn in this one, when a Tanu lookalike Kusum enters Manu’s life. Nonetheless, Raja is also back again in Tanu’s life.
As Kusum, Kangana Ranaut is seen in a different avatar with short hair, an athelic figure and speaking in Haryanavi dialect.
Where in the prequel, Kangana was stuck between two guys, director Anand L Rai has made Madhavan the lucky one with two girls.
In ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, Kangana and Madhavan will reprise their roles from the previous one and will take the movie forward.
Anand L Rai, who promises it to be a family entertainer and engaging, said, “I can assure that it is a family entertainer, which will engross you, engage you. It is quite quirky and unconventionally told but emotionally attached.”
‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ screening was attended by the who’s who of B-Town and got a thumbs up from most of the celebrities. Kangana’s endearing acts in the film left them surprised.
The romantic comedy which is all set to rib tickle the viewers on Friday (May 22) also stars Deepak Dobriyal and Swara Bhaskar, who were also seen in the first part.
